Underworld: Blood Wars is an upcoming 2017 American action horror film directed by Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman. It is the fifth installment in the Underworld film series and the sequel to 2012 film Underworld: Awakening, with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene. The main cast also includes Theo James, Tobias Menzies, Trent Garrett, Lara Pulver, Clementine Nicholson, Bradley James, and Charles Dance. Principal photography began on October 19, 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice. Kate Beckinsale returns as Selene.
